オックスブリッジ(Oxbridge)チームの来日スケジュール
チーム編成： オックスフォード、ケンブリッジ大学総勢30名
プロフィール：
団長以下30名の連合チーム。通常は日本の早慶・早明戦を戦うチームと同様に好敵手で、連合チームを作り遠征するのは極めて珍しい。
ブリティシュライオンズに選抜される選手も多い両校である。

我々オックスブリッジチームを、日本にご招待いただき感謝申し上げます。
今回、日本を代表する大学チームと試合ができることは大変名誉で楽しみにしております。
皆さんの心に残るエキサイティングな試合をお見せしたいと思っています。
Tim Stevens : Team manager
It is a great honour and privilege for Oxbridge Rugby to be invited to tour Japan and we very much look forward to two tough matches and making new friendships.
Steve Hill : Oxbridge Coach
I am very excited about bringing an Oxbridge rugby team to Yokohama. Having visited Japan on a number of occasions with Oxford this trip will be a very different experience. We have little time to prepare the team and we know we will have to work extremely hard to ensure we produce our best possible performances against Kanto Gakuin and Keio. This is very different coaching challenge and to which I am really looking forward.
Ian Minto : Oxbridge Coach
I am really looking forward to the Oxbridge visit to Japan. I have never visited the country before but the reputation of both Japanese rugby and hospitality suggest it will be a memorable trip. I am particularly excited about the coaching challenge and the need for our squad to become cohesive very rapidly to produce two matches of high quality.
Peter Clarke : 2008 Captain
It is with tremendous excitement that we look forward to the forthcoming Oxbridge University Rugby tour to Japan. To have the opportunity to experience an Oxbridge tour is an extremely unique and prestigious honour for all of the players involved, and we anticipate two very tough fixtures against Keio and Kanto Gakuin universities as well as the fantastic hospitality that our Japanese hosts always kindly bestow upon us. We embark on this trip looking to symbolise and promote the values and ethos that underpin the Oxbridge institution to create an experience that we will fondly remember and to ensure that this historic tradition continues long into the future.
